Volunteers

THANK YOU for your willingness to volunteer to help with this amazing annual event! Every year we have a fine group of staff who go above and beyond expectations in order to make YAC a positive experience for teens. Because YOU are the front line to our campers we have an application process that needs to be completed before you are allowed to join us.

Filling out forms and getting the necessary clearances can be time-consuming but it is essential in making sure that we get the people that God has chosen for this time and place to share the Good News with teens. We are aware and understand the transforming power of a relationship with Christ and so even if you think there is no way you can work with and lead teens, you are still invited to apply.

2 Corinthians 5:12 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”

Important Points

• Criminal Background Checks can take time to process – make sure that you start that process in a timely manner!
• The Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance form and payment need to be sent to address provided on that form.
  • If you are out of state you will need an FBI clearance PRIOR to sending in this application. Start that process now!
• ALL volunteer forms (application, pastor recommendation, proof of clearances) need to be sent in PRIOR to coming to camp (postmarked by June 1st).
• NO ONE will be permitted to work as a volunteer without the necessary clearances and paperwork completed and submitted.
